Visual & Squareness
Verifies surface finish, lack of defects, and out of squareness alignment at pipe ends (Clause 7.1).
Color & Stripe Dimensions
Verifies correct pipe color, presence of co-extruded strips, stripe depth (≥0.20 mm), and stripe width (≥3.00 mm) (Clause 6.2 / 6.2.1).
Dimension of Pipes
Measures outside diameter, ovality tolerance (≤2.2mm), and wall thickness (4.30 - 4.90 mm) (Clause 7.4).
Hydraulic Characteristics
Acceptance pressure test conducted at 5.7 MPa induced stress for 48 hours at 80°C without failure (Clause 8.1).
Reversion Test
Heats sample segments in a hot air oven at 110°C to verify longitudinal heat reversion and thermal stability (Clause 8.2).
Elongation & Yield Strength
Measures percentage elongation at break (≥350%) and tensile strength at yield (≥15 MPa) (Clause 8.9).
Density at 27°C
Verifies base polymer and compound density (940 - 960 kg/m³) to ensure structural uniformity (Clause 8.7).
Oxidation Induction Time
Assesses thermal stability and antioxidant levels to guarantee longevity under oxygen flow (Clause 8.5).
Melt Flow Rate
Measures Melt Flow Index (MFR) in g/10 min to verify processing stability and consistency (Clause 8.4).
Carbon Black Content & Dispersion
Determines carbon black content percentage (2.5±0.5%) and uniformity of dispersion under magnification (Clause 8.3).
